Refund Policy

At Muhd Ibn El-Barau College of Nursing Sciences, Zaria, we are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the College’s stance on payments made by students, applicants, or any other parties in connection with our academic and administrative services.

Non-Refundable Payments

All fees and payments made to Muhd Ibn El-Barau College of Nursing Sciences, Zaria are strictly non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Application fees
• Acceptance fees
• Tuition fees
• Registration fees
• Examination fees
• Hostel or accommodation fees
• Development or administrative charges
• Any other mandatory or optional payments

Once payment has been made and acknowledged by the College, no refunds, chargebacks, or cancellations will be processed, regardless of the reason, including withdrawal, dismissal, non-attendance, or personal circumstances.

Purpose of the Policy

This policy ensures that the College can effectively plan and allocate resources to maintain the quality of education, infrastructure, and student services.

All financial commitments from students and applicants are considered final and contribute directly to the operational and academic sustainability of the institution.

Exceptions

In rare and exceptional cases, a refund or credit may be considered only at the discretion of the College Management and subject to the following conditions:

• A payment was made in error due to duplicate transactions, and valid proof is provided.
• A student made payment for a program that was not offered or canceled by the College.
• Any other exceptional case approved in writing by the Provost or Bursar.

In such instances, any approved refund will be processed within 30 working days, after proper verification and documentation.

Responsibility of the Payer

Before making any payment, students and applicants are advised to:

• Carefully confirm the correct fee amount and payment purpose.
• Use only official College payment channels and accounts.
• Keep all payment receipts and confirmation records for reference.

The College will not be held responsible for payments made into unauthorized accounts or through unofficial agents.
